Bernardo Carvalho is a renowned Brazilian novelist, journalist and playwright. He has been the "Folha de S. Paulo" (one of Brazil's major daily newspapers) correspondent in Paris and New York and the editor of the paper's literary supplement "Folhetim". His books have been translated into more than ten languages and have been published in many countries
