Programmes

Organisers interested in collaborating with the India International Centre (IIC) must submit a detailed programme proposal via email to po@iicdelhi.in

The proposal should clearly outline the concept and objectives of the programme, details of speakers/performers involved, the expected audience profile, any previous associations with recognised cultural or academic institutions, and a brief note on the organiser or organisation.

Proposals are usually reviewed and responded to within 7–14 working days, subject to internal approvals. In case a programme is not approved, the organiser can still hold it at IIC as a private programme by booking the venue through CBO at cbo@iicdelhi.org

IIC provides the venue, basic technical equipment, technical staff support, and outreach through its programme listings and communication channels.

The Programmes Division does not schedule collaborative programmes on third Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Upon approval, organisers are required to submit final programme details including the abstract, schedule, names and brief bios of speakers/performers, logistical and technical requirements, and promotional material details (poster text and visuals) within the stipulated timeline. The details should reach the Programmes office by the 20th of the previous month.

Details regarding charges, if applicable, are shared with the organiser after the proposal is approved, based on the nature and requirements of the programme.

IIC undertakes outreach through its official programme cards, emailers, and website. Any additional printing or publicity requirements must be discussed separately with the Programmes Division.

All technical arrangements are coordinated through IIC. Any external technical requirements must be discussed and approved in advance.

Any changes to the programme content, speakers, or schedule must be communicated to the Programmes Division at the earliest and are subject to approval.

Once approved, organisers will be assigned a point of contact from the Programmes Division for all further coordination.

Once a programme has been approved and scheduled, cancellations are discouraged. In the event that a programme must be cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, the organiser is required to inform the Programmes Division in writing at the earliest. Programmes cancelled at short notice may affect future collaboration requests. Any costs already incurred by IIC in relation to the programme may need to be borne by the organiser.
