A hundred years ago in 1917, Mahatma Gandhi set up what was going to be his Karmabhumi, Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. It was from here he decided to wake up India and shake the world in a gentle way. This documentary sheds light on Gandhi’s life in the Ashram and has a rare eyewitness account of the famous Salt March by one of his disciples, Sumangal Prakash who was one of the 79 Ashram residents Gandhi selected as his co-marchers
