International Symposium on Creativity and Freedom: 5 and 6 February 2019
A two day symposium organised in collaboration with Ashoka University; and Centre for International Modern Art (CIMA), Kolkata
 
The symposium will discuss and address concerns in Art History, Fine Art Practice, Music, Theatre, Design, Literature, and Cultural Studies, including popular culture, Architecture, Film and the increasing concern with ‘wellness’, both physical and mental. Speakers include Nicholas Coleridge; Gopalkrishna Gandhi; T.N. Ninan; William Dalrymple; Suman Mukherjee; Deborah Swallow; Dr. Wang Chunchen; Sabyasachi Mukherjee; Prof. Amareswar Galla; Catherine David; Patrizia Asproni; Shahid Amin; Prof. Nayanjot Lahiri; Shubhra Gupta; Anna Vetticad; Sergio Scapagnini and others.
 
As part of this symposium, on 6th February, there will be an exhibition and a cultural programme
