India and Africa – Building New Relations

In the next stage of India’s outreach in building international partnerships Africa is a major objective. Building stable and friendly relations with this emerging continent with its large natural and rapidly developing human resources will pay rich dividends. Yet, in spite of our historic ties, there is presently neither much substance in our relations nor understanding of the current state of Africa and its many concerns. On the other hand, China has made many inroads with mixed impact
