Framed by Women: A Festival of Films by Women Directors

For the first time, the IIC Experience will include a festival of narrative fiction films by women directors. The film festival will present 24 Indian and International features starting with the work of veteran women directors such as Agnes Varda, Vera Chytilova, Marta Meszaros, to acclaimed features by younger contemporary directors. Some of the films to be presented include Little Vilma (Hungary); Return to Hansala (Spain); The Reluctant Fundamentalist; Tomorrow will be Better (Poland); Midnight's Children; The Way Home (South Korea); Alice's House (Brazil); Firaaq (India); Dhobi Ghat (India) and What's Going On (Lebanon); among others
