Rapid advancement in technology has witnessed exponential increase in production of electronic items. Unless there is a very strong, streamlined producer responsibility (EPR), management of electronic waste is not easy. This is more pronounced in developing countries like India which lacks in investment, infrastructure, legislation and skilled human resources. Electronic waste requires to be dismantled and processed scientifically and with a lot of precautions. The talk will focus on the challenges and opportunities of E-waste management in India
