India and Canada have a longstanding relations built upon shared values of democracy, pluralism and strong personal relations at the highest level. Canada is among the fastest growing equity investors in India. It is home to one of the largest Indian diaspora communities and remains a popular destination for Indian immigrants. There remains immense opportunities between the two countries in areas ranging from health and education to renewable energy and innovations.
