In terms of the guidelines issued by the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Pubic Distribution, Govt. of India, vide Order No. F.No.J-25/57/2022-CCPA dated 4th July 2022, the Centre has stopped levying of Service Charge on Catering and Hostel Charges bills w.e.f.  7th July 2022.
